Artist Suzanne Treister is imagining mankind’s future narrative. Treister explores multiple interstellar scenarios for techno-human evolution in vast abstract time frames. Part of a larger body of work of the same name, SURVIVOR (F) is a view of post-apocalyptic garden. Just one slice of many interlocking and multi-layered algorithmic stories that inform this infinitesimally detailed epic and all-encompassing world. These abstractions gather sentience and materiality through their obsessive repetition and shifting perspective, building a pragmatic web of fictions in a cosmic hallucination that could be an accurate prediction of our future, or just a beautiful dream.
